These are books that tell great stories and take a long time to read. They are classics in a sense — having stood the test of time — but don’t quite reach to the very top level, which tends to involve themes that are lost on a youngster (or, worse, damaging to his developing moral sense). The Little Gingerbread Man - by Carol Moore - A surprising new version of the classic Gingerbread Man fairy tale.. The Journey of the Noble Gnarble - by Daniel Errico - Illustrated by Christian Colabelli - Deep below the ocean waves a gnarble fish dreams of seeing the sun and sky. Also available at Amazon in hardcover and Kindle editions.. Invisible Alligators - by Hayes Roberts - Little Sari.

After writing my stories, I wanted to share them with kids right away to help them solve problems and encourage them to be fearless.

Are you a good speller. Do the stories just come out perfect or do you have to work on them a lot. I have to work on them a lot.

My mom and dad edit my books. Do you have other editors. Yes. The other thing is, even though a few have (I thought) been really bad stories that never did lead anywhere- these are still published novels, so someone must have liked them.

Regardless of how dry and empty the storylines were, and that they did use mostly tell and no show, I guess it's only because they had a start and finish and all the.

This challenge encouraged me to finally read War and Peace after staring at the book for 3 years not knowing if I could read it.
